Here are some answers to commonly asked questions

Who can I speak to about this?

ISH provides support for neurodivergent students via the learning support staff (Ms. Leela) or the school counsellor.

Can I speak to a student?

Yes! This website is run by students at ISH. We understand that sometimes it can be easier to speak to a fellow student, so the “Email us” button leads directly to the student leaders of ISH Social.

Where can I easily socialise?

ISH Social currently has a CCA, available to all students from grades 6 to 12. Students can visit after school [CCA location and timing pending]

How can I join ISH Social?

If you are a student who would like to provide support to others via ISH Social, you can email us and let us know why you would be a good fit. This would allow you to assist socially struggling students at ISH (and can be valuable for CAS).

Each application will be reviewed by members of ISH Social, as well as the learning support team.

Does ISH Social provide support for issues not listed?

Of course! ISH Social is not limited to neurodivergent students, and simply aims to assist any students with social or academic struggles, in order to help them feel like they properly fit in. Do write to us if you have any suggestions for our services, and we would be open to discuss this and branch out the support that we offer.
